ALLY news, Alliance Gaming to Install Its SDS(R) Slot System at Three Harveys Properties LAS VEGAS, Aug 22, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLY chart, msgs) announced today that it has received orders from Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. to install its SDS(R) slot management system from Bally Gaming and Systems at three casino properties Harrah's acquired from Harveys Casino Resorts. Preliminary work on displacing the current systems has already begun and the implementation of SDS on the more than 4,800 slot machines at the three properties is expected to be complete by the end of the calendar year. Harveys Resort & Casino in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and Harveys Casino Hotel and Bluffs Run Casino, both in Council Bluffs, Iowa, will join the list of other Harrah's-owned properties with SDS.
