DMA,

No one strips any money from anyone's pockets where the lottery is concerned. No one grabs a person, drags him into a convenient store, and takes his money away from him to bet on the lottery. I don't equate the lottery with any tax situations at all. It is playing a game, voluntarily, and if someone cannot afford a couple of bucks, then they are fools to participate but, you cannot, logically, blame anyone for anything except the people that willingly bet the money.

Perhaps you have had some sort of bad experience with the lottery in your particular state, but don't blame all the other states for you misfortune. Everybody with a lick of sense, knows the odds are 14 million to 1. Seems like you are barking up a tree you ain't pissed on yet.
