No, but I got your number, don't I. As usual, no. I'm trying to find out just what you mean when you say something like "Except for the lame jabs taken at people who live by morals." If there are people who live by morals, at whom Solon's story is taking jabs, then who are the rest of the people, the ones not being jabbed. People who don't live by morals? That doesn't tell me much. What do they live by. Are they immoral? Or amoral? Do they live by something else, like maybe "eat or be eaten?" Who or what are these other people? I think I can fairly conclude that you approve of the people who live by morals and that you have a "distaste" for the other people, whoever they may be. All I'm trying to do is define, label, or characterize who they may be and the basis for your distaste. Obviously, you don't have any obligation to clarify your meaning if you don't want to. Karen
