Donald: Re: "Just suspecting a small bounce into the end of the month, but that doesnt mean we go straight up. More like today's lows should hold until the END-of-MONTH RALLY is over. Basicly some oscillations with a slight incline."

Looking at the charts for the past few months, since the April lows, the general rule is that we sell off into the mid and later part of the months and then turn for that end of the month rally. Exception is May where we collapsed and then rallied from this time that month into the beginning of June. Moreover, the end of August is generally pretty solid. Exception was 1998 where we fell into the end of August. Finally, even though your scenario sounds good, my biggest problem is that the Dow did not cough up its hairball and give us that spike down. Seems like this is unfinished business. Reminder to self: short this market at the end of this month when we get the bull market sales pitch. You KNOW they will say we have had a retest of the general area of the lows right here today if this holds. I wonder if a common characteristic of bear markets is deja vu. I feel like Bill Murray in "Groundhog's Day." I know exactly what they will say well in advance. Note to self: expect Abby Joe to make an market appearance/call at the end of the month.
