Believe me, if your proposed secrecy act is anything like the UK Official Secrets Act, then even if its proponents have the best and most noble of intentions <vbg> it will be instantly abused. Basically it's a catch-all to conceal anything the government, or the machinery of government, does not wish to reveal. This has been proven (by leaks) to include collusion, bribery, corruption, stupidity, total incompetence, hypocrisy, lying to the public, &c - and we haven't even got to the SIS/MI5/MI6 bits it's meant to protect... Do whatever you can to stop it passing.
