Unfortunately, what's been killing me on the day trades is commissions. At 29$ per 1000 shares in and out, that's 6 cents I need to make on every trade just to break even. I've made 2000$ before commissions and lost 1300$ after, trading the last month. Can't beat house edge, so I've stopped trying for now. How about you? Eventually some Canadian online broker will break ranks with the cartel and offer lower commissions, but none so far. God knows I've looked. CD
