Ted, next time anyone of your guests mentiones bearish sentiment of this market, could you please show them this chart and ask them what they think.

schaeffersresearch.com

This is the chart of Put/Call ration on Nasdaq 100 QQQ.

It shows complete lack of fear and enormously growing bullish sentiment, even as the market keeps sinking.

The lower the Nasdaq goes the more calls they buy.

And the last time Put/Call was above one ( indicating that more people are buying puts then calls) was just after the April low.

If there is anything you tell about the market sentiment is that market is incredibly complacent and lacks any fear whatsoever.

The same indicate the VIX VXN and QQV volatility indexes.

People bought stocks and are sitting and waitng for a rally. But with this complacency levels they may get something completely different

cnbs news update:

they said the market dropped today because dick cheney told us that when we start bombing the shit out of the rest of the ME they will retaliate...i know no market participants would have been able to figure this out for themselves, or figure out that cheney and the fbi dir. said these things so that later they couldn't be taken to task for not saying them after the suicide bombing started.

nobody mentioned how most widely held companies have been lying for years and are not making any money so this had nothing to do with the gyrations of the mkt today or any other day.

this is basically all that CNBS has said all day, in 48 different ways.

good job ted and the rest of the team LOL
