Katherine, It's profit , not revenue. One helluva difference.

Katherine, that is still hard to believe. You wrote “An $83 million change in revenue is roughly 9 steppers.”

Being in the industry, I agree that the Suggested Retail prices on these Semi Equipment systems are high, but over $9,000,000.00 per system sound too high.

You maybe right that being the asking price, but selling one system at nine million to each of their customers is hard to believe. This is especially true with some of the more "tight" customer who knows how to “whack off” 20 – 30% of the asking price during these hard times.

Most systems that I am familiar with or ½ or 1/3 the nine million per system number you quoted.

But not being in the Litho end of our industry since the days of Perkin Elmer in Connecticut, I guess I am surprised that customers are paying nine million per system.

I am sure you are correct, and maybe the litho end of the SEC is even harder system to design than I realized.

I just thought, "maybe the sold what they expected, but their customer "whacked" the Retail down the 30% everyone is talking about on every system.

Go figure.
