Gee, I didn't mean to open a can of worms over my 1 dollar purchase.

I understand what you are saying as I have had the same problem with Indian casino's in the past. It is either legal to gamble or it isn't, and it shouldn't be based on who you are.

I don't personally feel that gambling is a problem. People have problems not things. Addicts will find a way to feed their habit, legal or not. What is recreation for me is a problem for someone else, but I don't think the fix to that is to make something illegal. I mean I would even rather see drugs legalized and treated as a medical problem rather then a legal one. Tax the hell out of it and legislate it, but don't turn it into a crime. Would free up a lot of space in our prisons from all the non violent types that are there now.

With all of that said, I didn't win. I now will be forced to buy another ticket Saturday. I think I'm hooked:)

The mob used to run the lotteries until they were run out of the racket by a bigger gang. And you're right, La Cosa Nostra did a better job. They didn't have a monster payout like the new gang does, but your odds of winning something were a lot better.

Yep.

There should be private lotteries.

I've already planned mine.

A $10 million prize.

Paid out in the form of ten dollars a year for a million years.

If the government can do it, so can I.

Want to buy a ticket??
