Bluetooth vendor RangeStar nears sale of assets to avoid bankruptcy

RangeStar was an early player in the Bluetooth antenna market, and two years ago it seemed like that technology was poised to explode. "Unfortunately, that's a market that has taken longer to bloom than anybody expected," said Will Strauss, president of market research company Forward Concepts (Tempe, Ariz). "It just hasn't happened, at least not in significant numbers, and with nothing shipping, even if RangeStar had their parts designed in, there would be no revenue coming in the door."
