Book-to-bill cancellations: Gottfried, Don Wennerstrom responding to my request with the following: ____________________ AD, Yes, I did correspond with SEMI on the issue of how they treat cancellations. I received the following answer. <The bookings that SEMI reports on a monthly basis is actually a 3 month average. Before taking a 3 month average we must determine what the actual bookings are for each month. In this case, yes, the bookings are a sum (orders - cancellations) of orders that will be shipped in the next 18 months.> I don't have any further information on specific details regarding the other items in which you were interested.
