So true: "The debate that I have seen most frequently here is between those who believe that values are created by humans out of human experience, and that they develop and change as societies develop and change, and those who believe that values are determined by some hypothetical outside factor." However, those of us arguing that there are preset truths that underly principle do not accept the "outside factor" label. We consider it built in. Whether it has been established as the nature of the human condition by the creator of the human condition or as jorj has suggested a matter of bio is a side issue and a separate topic.
