I dont think we'll get any kind of low at the end of the month...historically, end-of-months have been fairly strong i believe (window dressing?)...bwdik

Anon, 1775 is not that far away. I've observed that several times the move after the Fed cut is contrary to the general trend. After 3-days or so, the trend seems to continue. It's not a fact nor a certainty, but we may have that situation play out if we do not break through 1890 the 3rd try (I assume we'll get there twice today and possibly again tomorrow morning, failing).

That's a lot of assumptions, but we can still get to 1775 and bounce up for the end of the month high and early September high. That's why it seems to me things may work out nice for everyone if we top off today and drop below 1800 COMPX.

Someone did post here that the 1st week of September has been up for 17 out of the past 17-years. I just don't know if that's the first Full week or the first week with September days in it.
