No, I'm saying that foreign relief workers in particular, due to their privileged status, are obliged to obey host country law, most especially when the law in question is in no way obstructing their mission.

That was pretty obvious, I thought you would have picked it up.

I think the government of Afghanistan is barbaric beyond compare; I would like to see them diplomatically isolated and stripped of all but the most essential humanitarian aid. I would like to see all possible aid and encouragement going to those who oppose that government. But workers in relief aid missions cannot have anything to do with any of this. That is the nature of their mission. When you sign on for relief work you leave your political and religious convictions at home, because they will obstruct the mission. That's the way it is and the way it must be.
