I know. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a system where a crime is a crime and the consequence for it is predictably applied. Sometimes fairly decent people get on a bad path or simply make bad choices as adults. There is little or no deterent from the justice system to give them a wake up call. Our whole justice system is clogged with serious felone's and repeat offenders. Maybe some of these people would never have progressed to this level of criminality if the over crowding situation did not exist.
