I believe it is happening but not that it is a conspiracy or necessarily orchestrated.

If two people are hungry, they will both eat. They do not have to confer to come up with this strategy. They do so independently. Similarly, two or more fund managers can use the same exit strategy without having to collude.

Remember QCOM was the poster child for the stock market bubble. Remember when some idiot former analyst came out with a $1000 price target when QCOM was at $600. The market slide started soon thereafter and has never looked back.
