Agree with "late to party" fear...but on the other hand, if you were earning 6-9 percent on one of your stocks, would you sell it? I'm not sure many people would. Also, old baby boomers (me) are leaning more and more toward this type of fixed-income statement, so there are plenty of investors for this type of thing.

The worry about REITS may not be the price at which you get in.....the worry is that the REIT and the commercial real estate market remain healthy. Personally not too worried about that right now.
