Back then, as now, code words on key issues were all that was necessary to understand who he was speaking to and what he meant. You may be right, I don't know, and if he is indeed a racist I say, "screw him". But anytime I hear you guys talk about "codewords", I can't help but think it's another way of putting words into someones mouth without them having said them. The "civil rights" industry and those who make their living off the strife are experts at this. It's all part of the imaginary monster your side seeks to keep alive so that the "industry" of race relations can continue to flourish. It's decietful, especially to those you dupe. And I say again so as not to have MY words twisted, "If Jesse Helms is a race hater then screw him and anyone like him". You just have to give me something more than "codewords". BTW, I did not start turning against Clinton till he showed his stripes.
