Well, You may have overlooked my comment on simple civility...here ya go: "Courteous behavior and politeness can be and often is a mask for manipulative cruelty, deceit, and overbearing oppression. Civility and righteousness are not always synonymous, IMO. This thread is a great case study. I would NEVER support it as a standard that out weighs others in a society for which justice and equality is tenuous. Civility is a secondary value for a social group when a social contract of common principle is in effect.
