< i expect we will have a contraction of capital availability to valid venture-level business plans (actually this was predicted in the book "The Coming Internet Depression", which was actually a fun read in spite of its sensationalistic title). this is bad for the economy and the world as a whole.> That appears to be the trillion ${US} question... is the contraction over and the system done self adjusting [as Maurice seems to be saying], or are we in the middle of it with the worst yet to come [which I believe]. Either way, will be interesting... and my largest bet [goldshares] may actually do well either way IMO. DAK
