I think Cisco is now fully transformed into the Dilbert World.

Company Re-Organization:

Companies re-org every three to four years mainly to give pointy hairs something to do. The re-organization usually oscillates between broad organizations (Product/Customer focus) to centralized organization.

During broad organizations, customers can't stand that Core Routing department is clueless about their orders with Wireless. They also hate all the different systems they have to use. It's like dealing with 11 different companies. "Hey, let's centralize operations". And the cycle continues.

Re-orgs, oh, how I miss them.
