AAPL at least has CASH on hand.
Sometimes you make sense to me.
But....

I hate two things
1) buying the dips in a bear market until i see panic or some other sign of capitilation
2) AAPL going into retail stores - a sure file way to lose their ass in a recession IMHO

You and others acquised me of hyping JNPR when I said it would hit $15 when it was at 28 or whatever.

Hell It has and now I can but it at 20 on the uptick and still do better than buy the dippers who bought at 40, 35, 30, 25, 20, 15.

Look at RMBS. Actually I like this stock. I bought twice recently but bailed each time after a 30 cent loss.

I liked it at 7 but forgot to buy. It ran to 10. Bought when it hit 7 again. Big mistake. Sold it the next day for a loss.

Now it is below 5!!!!
And this is a company that is profitable.
For someone who bought at 10 that is a 50% loss.
I hate fighting DOWN trends....
But you know what.. I am going to buy RMBS tomorrow anyway.

So. There you go.
Mish goes long on something - posted in advance.
Mind you I can and will change my mind on a moments notice but that is my plan. I suppose it can fall to ZERO. It might if its patenst are totally invalidated and RDRAM ceases to exist, and there is no stock market runup , and and and ...

Patience my friend.
I am probably jumping the gun...
But If forced at gunpoint I would say RMBS at 5 and JNPR at 16 are good buys that will pay off SOME time in the future.

Bet you NEVER thought I would say that!
