George. That nails it. Every inflationary cycle is like that

The previous boom then busted sectors (like tech new) deflate drastically dragging associated suppliers and vendors down with them.

But at the same time the tidal wave of new liquidity pouring into the money supply quickly finds very credit worthy lean and mean sectors eager to expand and attract the investment loyalty of savvy investors.

These are often sectors either didn't participate in the previous boom, or registered only the 1st major phase of a longer secular bull market.

BTW, hear you<g>, about hearing aid prices. A family member uses them. And darn it, the good ones are quite expensive.
