I haven't read it yet -- but I'd like to know how in hell they can write off MORE inventory after the hit they took a quarter ago. While they were heavily criticized for the writeoff in some circles, I thought, "well, they're just trying to get all the bad news out so we can see some good quarters going forward". But now, they're going to write off more. Strange.

I misspoke....their restructuring involves breaking the company into 11 technology groups. CNBC mentioned the inventory write off at the same time they spoke of the restructuring but in article I read tonite, there was no mention of any more inventory write offs.

But I'm all for CSCO rallying. I'm in at 23 and would like to see a little comeback here pretty soon....

CSCO ended in after hours at $17.65, up almost a point from the 4 PM close.
