In order to properly understand Maurice, you need to be aware that one of the major formative influences in his life was reading Donald Duck cartoons as a child. I'm not making this up. He posted this fact somewhere on SI.

Maybe somebody 'gets it'.

QUALCOMM's CDMA invention generates vast tax payments to the USA by Q! staff, Lucent staff and so on. I'm sure somebody can understand that. As a shareholder, I am well aware of the level of income and profits and taxes [currently not much] on QUALCOMM's accounts. That wasn't the point.
