Edit to 54584: gain from lows was BETTER Than 40%, not a puny 30%, ggg. How many of us enjoyed this run up; how many of those who run the hype machine did?

James C. McGowan: My imagined scenario is a bit more straightforward than yours. I think the lows reached in September and October will be the level to buy into and become fully invested, whatever they may be, with overweighting in technology. I do not know if NASDAQ will be 1750 to 1800, 1600-1650 or 1400 to 1500. After that, I think there is considerable upside from late October into March 2002. At that point, I will exit all technology holdings (per usual) due to the seasonal weakness from April through October.
