Thanks BirdDog. Well, I've had folks tell me not to put 2000 on it because they've had problems with 2000.

Hum.... I'll have to check a little more now.

Well, about my lap top, I better fess up. Besides, Mrs. RR won't be reading this. The lap top actually went on the blink when we were out in Colorado relaxing a few weeks ago and I spilled coffee on it while doing an RR Hammer. I was watching the market, jumped up, and coffee went everywhere.

Yep, I did it.

I thought that I'd only spilled a little bit on the computer itself. Didn't think anything of it at all. I cleaned it up but a few minutes later the lap top started acting funny and finally went ka-put.

I found a local tech and he worked on that thing for a couple of days. Said I had a virus, but we'd just done a virus update an hour or so before the infamous coffee spill (shhhhhh....), so that didn't make sense.

Anyway, several hundred bucks later, he got it limping along but not 100% as it only worked with an external keyboard and also I didn't have my bios card with me that he needed to do the necessary update after taking its guts out and firing it back up.

When I got back home, the tech that builds my computers took a look at it and quickly reported to Mrs. RR that there was this "black gooie stuff" underneath the keyboard and looked like it had really messed things up.

I blamed it on the kids and said "I didn't do it!" (shhhhhh...)

So, I'm waiting on a new keyboard to get in.

Again, thanks info about win2000.
