I.N. I agree with your summary.

Throwing around comments about possible law suits can't be helpful to the longs, it only serves the purposes of the short sellers. Besides, I don't see any cause for it as the only specific guidance I remember Lev giving was the ~$3 million revenue for the quarter, or was it the previous quarter. While he said he expected to get to break-even by year-end, he didn't say they WILL get there. The status of existing orders is almost certainly controlled by the customers, not by Valence.

Thew rumor about Hanil shutting down came as lightning out of the blue. I wish Stephan had confirmed if it actually is the case. If it is, one has to wonder why? Did the Chinese government not approve the 30 million battery deal? Why would Hanil pay $1.6 million for a license recently if they didn't plan on pursuing the business? My guess is the rumors are false.

While it looks like the stock isn't going anywhere for a while, I'm pleased by the new aggressive attitude and the plan. It sounds to me like Stephan is analyzing what it will really take to break into the market, and will act accordingly, while also enlarging the scope of the market to include new applications. This is why he sees a potential $13 billion market he can tap. If he can nail down a major OEM deal by next spring/summer, he may be just in time for an overall economic recovery at the same time.

Hey, shoulda asked how many hours he gets out of his laptop with that newfangled phosphate battery!
