Get "Startup Cop". It's Freeware. Works great to manage start-up items. Haven't got a link but do a search to find it.

Open up the player then follow this clickstream..........

View/Preferences/Start Center/click settings radio button/uncheck Enable Start Center.

Open Realplayer

View>Preferenes>Startcenter>Settings
Unselect 'Enable Start Center'

This must be redone after any Real Player Updates.
