Well, Maurice, I am not the one who lost money on G*. You are. I just did a search on the G* thread using Thuraya as a search term, and I see that Valueman warned you guys about Thuraya and ACeS in 1999!

I was around in spring, 2000 - still plenty of time to save yourself.

Once upon a time you could make a lot of money investing in a concept. Well, I wouldn't call it investing, the term I would use is "taking a flier." Gambling. You can probably still do that, just not as easily as you could back in 1999.

I am enthralled by the concept, too. I started this thread in March, 2000:

But I didn't put any money into it. For a while I was taking off of the tracking portfolio the companies that went under, now I am leaving them on. BTW, speaking of concept, my tracking portfolio for George Gilder is down almost 80% from January, 2000, which is when I started it. At the time, who knew?-g-

<I don't care if Kyros, LLCF and every other person on the planet backs you up. >

Naw... I'm a QCOM holder and G* bondholder [from about 16 cents], I tried to tell her G* and irid were 2 different animals not nearly as eloquently as you. I'd fagetabout it, why waste your time.
