I need a lawyer. I am requested to sign a non-disclosure agreement to go into business discussion with an start up company.

The whole deal is base on the idea that I have(but can be replicated and can be used by someone without using me to implement. (I want to act as network integrator for the company). But the potential of implementing it is very big.

Lets say I have a (cheap) way to fence out of the biggest potential market for 3G/UMTS the competition in wireless data.

The only thing I know is that: NDA means I can't give away information from our dealing to someone else.

Is that possible for someone to tell in a few words what are NDA's for?

I never asked anyone to sing one for me perhaps I should get to know in which case they are useful to protect a business partner.

Would you anyone help me in that?

I would very much appreciate any help from the Thread.

PS: In return I will pass on the next abracadabra discussion I'm PM with Jay. You'll get it first hand as PM.
