Doug I appreciate your wonderful and thoughtful post, thank you!

How about these thoughts.........

I am not implying government surpluses are good, however massive debt is very bad, I want, and it makes most fiscal and economic sense to get the deficit down to a manageable number, thus when you have surpluses you pay down the debt, rather than blow it on useless defense spending and meaningless tax cuts except for those who don't need tax cuts.

The Clinton era ended with the NASDAQ at 2300 well below it's historic high of 5000 and still by today's measure AWESOME, because as we speak the NASDAQ is at 1916 or so which is some 20% lower in Bush's first eight months, a very dismal return. So what is YOUR administration's plan to return us to the growth of the Clinton years when the NASDAQ started at something like 500 and ended at 2300 a unheard of unprecendented growth which may never be equaled. It amazes me that the greatest bull market in history has come and gone and you folks don't want to consider why it happened?

All the world looked at the US for leadership during the Clinton years and accepted it and admired it, now every country in the world is saying wtfo (which stand for what the **** over) as in what are these guys doing? When the whole world is confused and leader is off in isolationist wonderland, what do you think happens to the markets, don't be dumb
