Well, I watched the interview and I would say all but NBC are factual in their Headlines. As far as NBC to say he talked publicly would be to say I TALKED PUBLICLY. He didnt say ANYTHING we didnt already know IMHO and the thing that disgusted me was his DENIAL of any relationship with the other women. It is so obvious he is lying that I wouldnt put much into what he said. My headline would be this: CONDIT DIGS A DEEPER GRAVE. JDN

Condidit claimed that he voted four times NOT to impeach Clinton. It blunts the "he's not really one of us demolib" spin. That's going to hurt the Dems as they try to put some water between themselves and Condidit so they can continue to smear Bush effectively. I think that the Condidit scandal is going to really impede Dem efforts to get the anti-Bush message out. It will continue to be a major distraction. That is good news. I do think Condidit was despicable last night. He threw dirt all over everyone and never took responsibility. I thought Chung was merely passable in her role. The question I would have liked to have seen is as follows: "Mr. Condidit, you have a daughter about the same age as Chandra Levy. If she went away to Washington, DC as an intern to learn about our political system and became involved in an adulterous affair with a Congressman and then disappeared, wouldn't you want to know the details???"
