Good housing news on CNBC two days in a row. It seems a lot of people are hoping housing starts is the pulse of the economy--as long as folks keep buying houses then the consumer is bullish and the party can go on.

I know we've discussed this before and I'm a little surprised at the strength of housing. Otoh, getting touted on CNBC is often the top. And, there's always the rotating investment idea: if you're getting killed in stocks and it's too late to get into bonds, then maybe you should take a fling at real estate?

Any ideas out there?
