Nope. Cheney told them since day one he would not release the documents.

There was a short time in the middle when the Congress was notified that they would get the notes. Lieberman was pleased, but for some reason skeptical.

What's the status on releasing the Reagan papers?

As I'm sure you must know, there was legislation that required the release of White House paper. Reagan's papers were due for release this past January, but GW [using an EO by Reagan] called for a extension for review purposes. At the end of the extension, the White House hadn't started a review and did another extension to Aug of this year.
