Interesting Theory. Land got Verrrry cheap in the 1930's. Nobody had any cash to buy it. I was told my great grandfather lost 200 acres because he couldn't pay the $35 property tax bill on it. I doubt things will get that bad again, but If they do- I will be buying up land at the courthouse at a healthy pace.

Got to have some cash saved to do it though- or you will be sitting there watching the land sell to someone else at a rock bottom price, and wishing you had saved some dough to make a bid. <g>
