Dick: I don't think the rally is going to last, based on my complacency indexes. (And I sure could be wrong.)

I post the indexes here:

Subject 51633

Right now, it looks like this:

ST Naz CI: 58.137 Yesterday: 64.871
MT Naz CI: 58.137 Y: 64.871
LT Naz CI: 83.391 Y: 84.876

ST S&P CI: 86.832 Y: 54.580
MT S&P CI: 82.428 Y: 51.812
LT S&P CI: 85.143 Y: 77.202

The short-term Naz CI was in the 80s a few mins. ago, too. The scale runs from 0 to 100, with fear and panic at the bottom, complacency and greed at the top. The indexes are contrary indicators. They're too high now for the S&P. They were too high for the Naz a few mins. ago, but they're pulling back.
