Dipy:

> I don't pay much attention to days like today. They mean nothing in the overall context. After all, something like 9 of the 10 biggest up days ever in the Nasdaq, have happened this year. And yet, where are we YTD? Down 25%! That is how bear markets work. They don't scare you out. They lure you, they tantalize you, they snare you, and they wear you out.

Above statement is sort of like saying:

I dont care much about days like today in California when it is nice and sunny. After all best days of California have happened since that big earthquake of San Francisco in the 19th century. What is important is that eventually that big earthquake is going to come and wipe california out of the map. That is how nature works. It lures you, it tantalizes you, it snares you, and it finally destorys you! Therefore it is most logical for you not to enjoy life in California and instead leave for North Dakota where you know it is safe and secure and are almost guranteed that nature is not going to drop that big earth quake on you! You may not enjoy life as much, but at least you know you will never ever have to face that big earth quake!

Bottom line Dipy, you and I seem to have some great differences in how to look at things. As a pessimist you will always think of any spike in stocks as a rally in a forever-never ending continuing bear market, and I view any drop in stocks as a correction in a continuing bull market!
