Tench:JF, so the popular sentiment on this thread has shifted from using phony GHz numbers to getting Gateway to go 100% AMD. That says a lot about the lack of confidence in AMD's execution.

I love it when posts like this are made. I really do! :)

P.S. I probably should state why I like this post, for it may be too subtle for some. Your conclusion is so back-asswards from the observation, that it elegantly shows you for what you are.

Ten,

Actually it show a lot of confidence. They somehow think they can talk an OEM that has virtually discontinued AMD chip's into converting 100% to AMD.

Tenchusatsu:

"That says a lot about the lack of confidence in AMD's execution."

Flat revenues in y2001 vs. a 20% or better decline for INTC says lots about AMD's execution, too!

Tench: so the popular sentiment on this thread

WHAT?! You're using the statements of a few people to characterize the "popular sentiment" of the thread? That's complete and utter BS. Hopefully, you are aware of this.

I had honestly expected more from you, Tench.
