what is interesting is that the views on Condit seem to be universal. That guy won't have any friends in Washington at this rate. The Reps will use him as a scapegoat and the Dems will distance themselves to avoid getting painted with the same brush. Assuming the investigation doesn't turn up something interesting, I predict that Condit will have a very quiet voice going forward. And I bet that he moves out of his district when his term is done. I bet those people are not going to be too friendly. Afterall, Chandra was one of them.
