This is an issue that can be rationally discussed by people who are defending or attacking an issue--rather than a political group. Just as hatred of a group of people for no rational reason can prevent one from seeing the individual characteristics of the individuals--so, too, can hatred of political groups or ideologies, prevent one from seeing issues sincerely and clearly through the fog of personal bias. WE are fortunate to have no biases, eh?;) I, at least, have no party...
