Now isn't that the most bearish thing I've heard all day? <vbg> It could happen on a spike down during shoulder season alright. But I can see a lot of pent up demand and instantaneously shut-in wells yoyoing the price right back up to about the $3/MCF level. The recent Simmons Intl report:

"High Costs And Falling Gas Prices -- Implications For E&P Economics"

is somewhat convincing that this is a realistic bottom going forward. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, though, because Simmons was swearing last spring that $3.80/MCF was the practical bottom. <w>
