Yes, in general, I'd agree that reporters are poor business commentators. Two things make the article that I cited different: First, Steve Bailey is an excellent business reporter. Second, in the past both he and the Boston Globe in general have been highly complimentary of EMC to the point of almost becoming cheerleaders.
