Did you see todays IBD? In the big picture section, it showed that as of the close yesterday, shorts had just moved exponentially higher. This was just a squeeze and buyers riding on the poor bears backs. No fundemental reason for the rally. It just may delay the inevitable crash in SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER.

indicating big shorts and hedge funds were covering ASAP Commercials have been getting progressively MORE short over the past few weeks. Reversing course today isn't consistent with that fact. When the big boys cover you will know as there will be huge volme (not the puny volume we saw today). Today's "rally" came from buy-the-dippers who haven't learned their lesson (yet) and nervous shorts (there are many inexperienced shorts out there). commitmentsoftraders.com best... LIG
