A "misunderstanding" (your word) could be a lie?? JLA Two different issues here. One is technical; the other is substantive. One is whether X ever mentioned what brees said she mentioned. She didn't. He was inaccurate at best, lying at worst. This is the technical issue that E has been pursuing. The substantive issue is whether X could be fairly characterized as having a distaste for truth, justice, etc. You say it's a fair characterization. I think you misunderstand X. I do not claim either is a lie. I'm sorry that my response was sloppy in that it appeared to combine the two issues. Karen
