Not only don't I work for the DNC I dislike big parties and am a true independent.

LOL!! Yeah right. That's why your rants contain all the DNC talking points....

I also consider campaign finance reform a law+order issue and the ones who abuse it snide crooks undermining the meaning of our votes, in other words democracy itself.

You mean like your hero Bubba Clinton and Alphonse(Iced Tea--I didn't know it was a fundraiser) Gore?? LOLOL!!!

Your medication needs to be adjusted...

Read up on the S+L debacle then compare to Bush's methods today particularly when it comes to breaks to Big Energy and almost total environmental deregulation. I'm sure you'll see the clear similarities and the danger there. We will pay the price not only in dollars but in pollution, clear-cut forests, eco-system degradation and wilderness areas forever ruined. Texas was the epi-center of the S+L abuses. History is trying to repeat itself with Big Energy (along with other polluting and nature-plundering businesses, all in league). Campaign finace reform is the real cure, because soft money politics is the root of this evil. And who do you think funded and created Bush? Big Energy and their allies.

Well then, you're missing some good money. They would hire you in a flash.

If you are a conservative on finance reform, deficit spending, and "squandering" the surplus, then I personally agree with you.

Where we appear to differ is in your animosity towards the current administration. I don't believe that's really what is "bring[ing] out the anger" in you. I think it's probably more related to things that happened before GW took office.

I'm just guessing, mind you. I think GW had two real choices; either reduce the national debt or give some money back to the people that loaned it to him. He chose the latter, which in my opinion was not the better of the two. You think it's because he's corrupt, and I think it's because there is no point in reducing the national debt totally because the next democratic administration will borrow it all back instantly. The only way to really pay off the national debt forever is to pay it off and then never ever create it again. If you think that will ever happen, I want some of what you are smoking.

I understand that GW is moving some of your money in a direction you don't agree with. You are not alone. It's happened before for lots of people. Clinton moved some of my money in directions I didn't personally agree with. In fact, he moved a whole bunch of stuff in directions I didn't agree with.

The fact remains that you, and a few others, could easily discuss your points of view on at least two other threads, both of which would be very interested in discussing your anger. But you choose to post on this thread and toss out angst-driven personal opinions as "facts". I see no reason for that except you intend to piss other people off and cause trouble. 100 years ago, you would be sitting in the saloon all day every day bitching about the oil baron that just moved into the big house just outside of town. He's not a working person, you know. Never worked a day in his life. Fat and sassy, that man is. And lazy? You never saw such a lazy man. He's so lazy, he drools. Steps over the Little Guy at every opportunity. Has never done one good positive thing for the community in his entire life. Evil racist fat corrupt bastard, he is.

Who exactly are the "working people", anyway? If I own a business and pay an employee, I'm a "rich" and my employee is a "working person"? If somebody else signs the check I cash every two weeks, I am a "working person"? You cannot possibly expect me to believe you don't see the flaw in that argument, do you? I know where that argument got started.

Angry people tend to screw up. Close your eyes and use The Force, Luke.
