Hey cosmo..maybe the silence is due to the shorts covering and then leaving for the day. Either that or they held their shorts and left to go out for the day. You SERIOUSLY think the bottom is in, and it's a rally from here?? Tell me, what techs are institutions buying: CSCO? INTC? DELL? MSFT? CIEN? AOL? etc. Show me the volume from the techs that indicate there's been accumulation going on. Are you not aware that CSCO has a PE 80 (or near there), and you are paying for their less than 20% growth rate. You think this was a REAL rally, based on news that could lead to increased earnings? Is CSCO going to have better than expected earnings for the next quarter (lest you forget, they LOWERED expectations for the next quarter) Sure, the rally can continue...BUT YOU DON'T SERIOUSLY THINK IT'S GOING TO 3000? enough said. and biding my time until I re-set shorts.

Its amusing how the shorts stay quiet on rally days like today. "The Shorts" ? hehe.... Personally before I had to go to an important meeting friday morning Cosmo , I loaded up on AMCC long @ $14 in the am, i was cheerleading all the way : Message 16255307 Was going long CHKP and MERQ at the close Thursday sensing a shift in sentiment, covering and temp bottoming: Message 16251631 called the cover also for BRCD thursday @ $23.50 , (only off by $20c) Message 16251305 left the thread with the QLGC upgrade and possible long: Message 16254817 ....and shorted a more than a few of that " Zero "---->SIRI's pop in the am for almost a nice $50c gain . So when it comes to playing long , after just so many days of successful shorting , can play with the best of them , cousin cosmo, LOL. Also if you have any long picks , you are always more than welcome to post them here , we would all be glad to see them. Yes? No ? ...just some of us are enjoying the summer , and can take time off now & Zen, when ever we like... from just sitting and staring at summer~doldrum stock screens all day long... regards ;-) Mars PS: I think Keith covered EXTR for at least 6pts leisurely thursday before going off on a trip ....while you sat at a stock screen squeezing your buns in front of a screen for 48hrs ...for 2pts, LOL!
