Till that happens the NAZ cannot be in a firm uptrend.

I'm sure the 45% of listed Nasdaq equities that are non technology companies, let alone the mass of technology companies not involved in networking or telecommunications might have influence as well, provided their business climates are in the proper 'trend'.

We don't need an uptrend to make money. A flat market just going up and down in a few issues is enough to make a freaking mint.

In the meantime, I'm using some trading profits to accumulate stocks I think will do well after the market turns even if they do head lower for a while.

I'm keeping the majority of the cash I had from selling last year and just using my trading profits from stocks in a base but going nowhere fast to accumulate others. Working for now anyway.
