Its unfortunate that someone with kids might have to work two full time jobs to make ends meet and might not see them that much. But lets say you raise the minimum wage to $9/hour and they lose one of the jobs. If they could get by on a gross of $360 a week they wouldn't have needed a second full time job so obviously the one $9/hour job won't be enough. Esp. if there is more inflation because of this large minimum wage increase.
