the biggest bubble in history
Dismissing the past decade as just a bubble does a disservice to the whole idea of a technological information change which as you say will continue. It was totally tossed off track by a return to old economy transportation and energy issues.

The last decade is only a bubble when progress is stopped and there is no immediate future to help sustatin the information revolution. It could have been just more ebb and flow of the changing economy but was instead transformed by a sudden change of priority and emphasis and a complete lack of central planning and finance into a bubble, a little bit of nothing. It may be a long time before investors risk trying to change the way business is performed again.
